More to Life Then Being Sensible

I have to tell you, I did not come up with that title on my own but I do love it!  I actually heard this on my favorite radio show “Prairie Home Companion” on the PBS radio network.  I cannot recall exactly what Prairie Home was using this to reference to but I wrote the title down immediately because it made me think about the craziness we all see on the Internet today.

I don’t know how many offers I get in my email box every day telling me how much money I can make with this or that.  Boy, If had a nickel for every…..well you know what I am saying.  Let’s get real here for at least a few minutes please?  I have (more than I want to admit) bought into the hype and great wealth formulas out there that promise you a life of your dreams finding out that after you join that there is nothing in the back office but a world full of nothing.  I know of a great quote from one of Neil Simmons great movies starring Peter Sellers and Peter Faulk where they walk into a room where they expected a whole group of people and saw no one and someone said, “A room full of empty people”.  Now, doesn’t that remind you of what you get when you expect the best and find a back office room full of nothing?
